Congratulations on your new job and welcome to the Amsterdam Law School! You are joining a dynamic, inclusive and socially engaged faculty, with an excellent reputation in the field of teaching and research. Our faculty resides in a historic location in Amsterdam, on Roeterseiland. A vibrant campus with the faculties of Economics and Business and Social and Behavioral Sciences just a stone’s throw away.
We want you to quickly feel at home in the faculty. This online magazine aims to tell you all you need to get off to a good start. You’ll find useful information about the organisation itself, and about practical matters such as support for ICT issues, financial affairs and terms of employment. Of course, we also hope to meet you live at the introductory meeting for new staff. You will automatically be sent an invitation to this event.
To conclude, we wish you plenty of job satisfaction, success and inspiration! Starting a new job can be rather overwhelming, and you’ll find your colleagues are more than happy to give you a helping hand.
