The health and safety coordinator
The faculty has its own health and safety coordinator. You can contact them for support in areas including a healthy workplace or facilities for people with disabilities.

In order to ensure a healthy work posture it’s important than your workspace is properly adjusted to your body. Check the tips for an ideal workspace.
First Aid and emergencies: 2222!
In the event of an accident or emergency always directly call the emergency number of the Emergency Room: 020-525 2222. They will call in the Company Emergency Response Team (BHV) and may possibly call First Aid providers as well. A short list of instructions hangs on the wall of every work room and classroom.
Illness
If you are unable to work due to illness or an accident, you need to report sick. You can read about this procedure here.
Occupational Health and Safety Service
If you have any questions about your own health in relation to work, then the Occupational Health and Safety Service (Arbodienst) will put you in touch with an occupational physician, occupational consultant or staff welfare officer.
Personal safety
The Amsterdam Law School aims to be a faculty in which a sense of fellowship among colleagues, integrity, equality and respect are the norm. The faculty has a personal safety policy. You can turn to specific confidential advisers in the event of undesirable behaviour, to clarify your individual legal position and for issues of academic integrity.
